In collaboration with Halcyon and the Shaping Equitable Market Access (SEMA) for Reproductive Health initiative, InSiGHt Health Consulting is providing technical assistance to Lagos State to strengthen its reproductive health commodity procurement processes. This project aims to enhance the existing comprehensive procurement plan by identifying optimal sourcing strategies, exploring the potential for bundling procurement activities with private buyers to improve efficiency and reduce costs, and building the capacity of stakeholders to sustain and replicate these improved practices.
Key deliverables include the development of a pooled procurement strategy, an updated sexual and reproductive health (SRH) procurement plan, and targeted training for stakeholders to ensure long-term impact and sustainability
Market Research for Intravenous Iron Drugs in Nigeria
Client: Dalberg Advisor / Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation
InSiGHt Health Consulting conducted a comprehensive market research study across Ogun, Anambra, Niger, Bauchi, Kano, and Cross River states to assess the market size and potential for Intravenous (IV) iron drugs in Nigeria. The research addressed seven key areas: prevalence and burden, awareness, usage, availability and affordability, policy landscape, manufacturing and distribution, and market entry strategies. It targeted diverse patient groups, including currently pregnant women, recently delivered women, patients with chronic diseases, and those with infectious diseases, alongside service providers and stakeholders.
Employing both qualitative and quantitative methodologies, and leveraging primary and secondary data, the study provided robust insights into the market dynamics. Findings were shared with stakeholders and served as critical recommendations for market entry into Nigeria

Client: Programme for Appropriate Technology in Health PATH
We conducted market research across four states—Kano, Rivers, Osun, and Nasarawa—to explore current practices around childbirth, including cord care, and to identify value propositions. The study also included market segmentation to better understand target demographics and preferences.
The insights gathered were instrumental in shaping strategic recommendations for market entry, providing a foundation for informed decision-making and tailored interventions.
Capacity Building, Drug Revolving Fund (DRF), and Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Support in Ogbia LGA, Bayelsa State

We implemented a three-year intervention program aimed at promoting better health outcomes and advancing Universal Health Coverage (UHC) for residents of Ogbia Local Government Area in Bayelsa State. The initiative included a range of activities and interventions, such as health workforce training needs assessment and capacity building, comprehensive health facility assessments, community sensitization through targeted outreaches and engagements, the establishment of a Drug Revolving Fund, and robust monitoring and evaluation efforts.
The program achieved significant milestones, improving health outcomes for the residents of Ogbia LGA and advancing progress toward the realization of UHC in the region
